Gantry Steelwork
A&B Cranes has vast experience in supporting business with crane engineering which enables us to design and manufacture gantry steelwork for overhead travelling cranes of all manufacturers with safe working loads of up to 250 Tonnes. As a crane supplier we also manufacture goliath crane floor rails and floor plates, ladder systems and maintenance walkway platforms. The gantry steelworks can be fully free standing or tied back to the building structure. Alternatively, if the building is designed to support the overhead crane, brackets can be bolted or welded to the building columns to support crane tracks.
Design & Manufacture
Crane gantries or Gantry Cranes can be designed and manufactured for use within a building or to stand alone in an external yard area. We can also design and manufacture gantry access ladders and maintenance platforms and walkways. As part of the service, our designs team can provide all relevant crane loading details or gantry base plates loading details. All of our gantry steelwork is fully cleaned or shot blasted and then painted to the customer’s specifications and finished to the required paint colour.
